# Just Mac Apps authentication

Public REST, Markdown, RSS, AI snapshot, and MCP reads require no account or API key. They expose published catalog content only. No public API or MCP write operations are available.

Makers sign in at https://justmacapps.com/sign-in to manage their own listings and purchases. Administrators use the protected https://justmacapps.com/admin area. Never send passwords, session cookies, API keys, or private maker information to the public read endpoints.
